As a concept-driven
art director
and former aerospace engineer,
my creative practice thrives at the
intersection of design and
emerging technology.
I have explored this everywhere from NASA’s research labs
to social-first campaigns for global tech and fashion brands
like Adobe, UNIQLO, Logitech, Toyota, and Nordstrom.
During the pandemic, I spent a year as Adobe’s annual in-house Creative Resident, building out my art portfolio and helped grow Photoshop’s TikTok presence. In 2022, I launched my freelance agency, Guptanya Studios, through which I have led multi-platform campaigns from concept to launch. My agency’s success was validated by my spot on the Forbes Under 30 list for Art & Style in 2023.

what I do

My personal art style is a vibrant celebration of femininity inspired by my many passions: comics, aerospace, retrofuturism, video games, and the nostalgia of growing up alongside the early internet.

Before I launched my studio, I was a NASA aerospace engineer. I co-authored a software patent for a 3D modeling conversion tool with Kennedy Space Center’s Augmented/Virtual Reality Lab. I also worked on a prototype Martian aircraft (PRANDTL-M) that is now displayed at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. Read more about it in this NASA blog.
I regularly lead teams of stylists, photographers, videographers, lighting designers, and producers for campaigns ranging from theatrical media, tech/software launches, fashion campaigns, and more. I am also equally capable of running a one-woman show from pre-production all the way to the editing room, sometimes with only 24 hours' notice, as I often did during my residency. AI tools like Gemini, Runway, Midjourney, and Firefly have all helped me expedite my own creative process and increase my individual capabilities to that of an entire team's.
As an Adobe residency alumni, I am one of the industry's current leading experts on Firefly and GenAI. I bring expert fluency in Photoshop and mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and 3D Substance/Stager. I am organized, methodical, and proactive. I have a strong track record of shaping early-stage creative through style decks and moodboards that translate abstract ideas into compelling visual narratives.
